Chumbe Island Coral Park is a privately managed marine and forest reserve located about 12 km southwest of Stone Town, Tanzania. Recognized as one of East Africa’s earliest ecotourism success stories, it combines biodiversity protection, sustainable tourism, and community education in a 22-hectare island setting within the Zanzibar Archipelago.
